I'm finding things in the must unsual places... I found dill yesterday in my hedge row when weeding. I also have potatoes growing where i planted them last year. There is a random carrot growing amongst my lettuce.... and I never have to plant cilantro/parlsely, etc... because they've become self seeding.

For me it's annual vinca. It self sows vigorously! I actually wait for the second set of true leaves before I weed my flower beds because I want to make sure it's not vinca before I rip it out.
And to the pp about snapdragons - I had no idea they self seeded they way that they do! LOL I planted some in a container one spring, by fall there were new sprouts, not only in the container, but in my flower beds near the container.
we had cilantro come back this year but unfortunately we crushed it when we installed our new raised beds on top. I didn't now parsley would self seed!
my columbine is prolific, but I love it once I get it under control.
