Not super excited it is Monday but trying to start the week off right. How was everyone's weekend?

I had a semi good weekend. Dh was sick for most of it. He thinks it must have been something he ate. I'm feeling great so it's unlikely that it's the stomach flu. But we did get to register on Saturday. I went to lunch yesterday with his family, while he stayed home.

Yay for registering- how exciting!!

Today is my first day back at work after 2 weeks off... I think I took off too much time because I really don't want to be back, lol!   I just got my diet coke (yay caffeine), so hopefully the morning will pick up, lol!

This weekend was nice- hung out with the family, then last night started work on a wedding cake for this weekend! 4 tier cake- 3 layers are dark chocolate fudge, and one layer is white almond cake. Tonight I'll finish baking the layers, then throughout the week I'll work on leveling and doing a base coat of icing- then Friday the fun begins, lol!

Ugh it's Monday.  I really wish the weekends were longer.

My weekend was great.  Friday I went to the library and got a few books then went home and did nothing. Saturday DH and I just hung out, he went and hit some golf balls while I stayed home and did some baking.  I received a card in the mail from my stepkids for Mother's Day.  Sunday I finished baking a cake and decorating cookies and took it over to my stepkids mom's house for Mother's Day.  Then DH cooked dinner and we caught up on our DVR'd stuff.

Tonight, I need to go grocery shopping and I may go to the gym too.

Hi ladies!  Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

I am not so excited about Monday either!  My weekend was great!  Friday night I hung out with L and my parents since D had to work late.  Saturday we had a clean up and hauling crew come into the house we just bought to prep before we start renovating.  Once they were done, I took my neice and my shopping to look at flooring and then went to Target.  My dad and D BBQ'd for us and just hung out for the rest of the evening.  Yesterday was my first mother's day.  It was great!  My brother and sister came over with their families and we made my mom a surpirse breakfast.  Then D and L took me to dinner at Cheesecake Factory.  The rest of the night we just relaxed.

Good Morning! My weekend was busy busy busy and not nearly long enough! We went to a surprise party, went to dinner, watched a movie, went to brunch, BBQd, got a pedi, got my hair done and almost finished reading my new book, Dead in the Family! Whew!!

I didn't have the greatest weekend and today got off to a somewhat chaptic start too. I'm vowing to make it better from here on out. I did get a great MD gift though

Had a great busy weekend!  Luckily I managed to get in some relaxing yesterday when C took Sarah out for a couple of hours to give me a little quiet time.  He rocks!  :-)

No big plans for this week which is nice. 

I did start the book club book and really like it so far!

Happy Monday! We spent the weekend in vegas, but came home super early yesterday so I could spend Mother's Day with my babies

Happy Monday. Today definitely dragged. Sat-we hung out at my folks all day, BBQd, I experimented with Oreo Truffles (verdict-pretty boring). Came home and went straight to bed.

Sun-Isabel was up early so I was too. We took a quick trip to staters. Than DH took the kids to MIL's and I stayed home ordered a pizza, played with my cricut and made brownie truffles (better but a little too rich)

The kids schedules were out of whack so last night was rough, crying and no sleeping and  all that fun stuff. Even after  my coffee I was still drained. And now I have headache but at least the kids are doing better

Friday I went to happy hours with a few ladies from work and then came home and went to bed, minus the sleeping part. My body wanted no part of it for some reason. Saturday I got a few things done and then DH woke up early. We headed to the mall to use up some gift cards and went grocery shopping. Sunday we traveled a bit to go visit both of our moms and one of my grandmas. Overall it was a good weekend but far too quick. Now that  I don't have school I want to actually get things done!
