Happy Monday ladies! How was your weekend? Do anything fun? What's up for the week?
Re: ~~HAPPY MONDAY!~~
it's monday already? ;(
fri: flew home, passed out
sat: got my hairs did, went to a party in the evening. drank too much.
sun: recovered
this week: I'm so irritated right now. I wake up at 430am every monday to take the 645 flight to houston so I can be in the office asap. I came in this morning only to find out the doctor with whom I'm working flew to san fran because his daughter is being induced today - we've been waiting to hear when she was going to have her baby, I asked him to let me know when he'd be leaving.
I didn't even need to come in, there's basically no point in me being here. I might drive home today and drive back tomorrow, just waiting for boss lady to call me back to give me the ok. I could stay here but I don't know what to do. anything that I can think of (i.e. shopping) involves spending money.
I'm still sick.
Fri: Went to dinner w/ MH then did laundry forever. We closed down the laundrimat. We're wild.
Sat: Went to Riverside and and lunch w/ my mom and grandma, then came back here and got drunk at MH's friend's beach house watching the Lakers game.
Sun: Went out w/ MIL, BIL, SIL, slept a lot.
This week I'm getting my hair done, which is very good.
Friday: Vegged at home and ordered in.
Saturday: Pilates class followed by getting my hair done.
Sunday: Playdate at the dog park followed by eating, a nap & more eating.
ETA: Forgot to say that this week is not looking good. I slept horribly last night, might have jury duty tomorrow, have a trial & a hearing Thursday and have to attend a drug court field trip to a baseball game Thursday night for the sake of good PR for the office. Baseball w/o beer doesn't make sense in my world.
it was a lovely, exhausting, fun weekend!
saturday i got up early to work a junior league event we've been planning for months. cut out around 10:30, went home to pack, and we took off to disneyland. spent all day riding rides - it was curiously un-crowded - and then crashed at the grand californian for the night.
yesterday we took the girls and the ILs to a character breakfast and then went home and crashed for a few hours. got up, had dinner, came home, and that was it. so much fun!
This weekend flew by! I'm very sad it's Monday.
Fri: Dinner with my office staff, then spent the rest of the night home reading
Sat: Spent Mother's Day eve playing LA tourist with one of my friends. Went to Brentwood, BH, The Grove, and West Hollywood, then out for dinner and drinks and then saw Date Night which was hilarious even though I wasn't expecting it to be from what other people have said.
Sun: The princess made me a card that was pretty much my only happy moment on Mother's Day. I'm so glad it's over.
This week is a busy one at work, and then I'm gearing up to start school next weekend.
Low-key this weekend. Friday we did our typical drinks + pizza + DVR.
Saturday: gym, hung out at the Orange Circle. I had not known this place existed. We actually spent a lot of time in an antique store, which I've always thought I hated, but it turns out they're pretty cool.
Sunday: chillaxed at home, e-shoot, went out to dinner with my H. Good times
This week: boring work stuff. I'm hoping the week goes by quickly!
if you didn't go already, please do yourself a favor and eat at felix's. yum yum yum. three words: tres leches cake.
My weekend flew by and I wish I wasn't at work.
Friday: Floors were being installed so I couldn't really relax after work. Went to a workout class that was hard as heck. My abs still hurt.
Saturday: Woke up early, ran some errands, picked up furniture for the house, floors continued to be installed.
Sunday: Went to breakfast with H, my Mom, and Sister. Ran more errands and picked up more furniture, and floors again were being installed.
This week is work, work, work on top of getting ready for another weekend of home improvement work. It's never ending.
9/19/12: Miscarriage at 12wks due to Triploidy, D&C 9/24/12 - I will forever miss you my little angel
ssinca - why do you fly to work? Did I miss something?
Happy Monday!
Our weekend was completely exhausting.
Fri: Costco run, stayed in
Sat: up at 6:30 hit the supermarket, farmer's market, gym, did lots of cooking & cleaning and then went downtown for some drinks & food in the evening.
Sun: up at 6:30 again... more cooking & cleaning. Party went from 11am-7pm. I am still exhausted, but it was a success.
This week: So, so busy. I have a commitment every night. And we need to get our guest house ready for our renter to move in on Sat. Oy.
Fri- didn't do much
Sat- breakfast with friends, then shopping all day, friend's house for UFC
Sun- breakfast with the family, a friend and her mom. Pedicures with my mom and daughter, then dinner at my mom's.
This week I'm getting Lasik done on Wednesday!! So excited! Other than that I'll be working and then Sesame Street live on Saturday.
I took a (temporary) job in houston - I told them I'd take it if I could fly. it's 27 min in the air, but 170 miles from home and I didn't want to put the miles on our car. not to mention, I'd have to leave sun night. so, I fly out every mon morning and fly home every fri night.
only 3 more weeks though!!!
I have not been this glad to see a Monday in quite some time....
Friday: Found out because our loan officer is a liar, our escrow is being extended a week - new close date should be 5/20.
Saturday: Ex-H surrendered his car to me via his best friend (the one he donated the kidney to) - trashed on the inside, with a newer set of plates (hiding from repo), a stack of parking tickets, and expired tags. Shoved it in the garage & am ignoring it until the house closes.
Sunday: Euthanized my oldest dog (Chandler) due to a stroke & complications with an illness. Came home, cuddled with Bella for a few hours, then lunch at Slater's and visiting family friends. Home to work on my furniture refinishing.
This week - who knows. I am just keeping my fingers crossed that we find out what the hell is going on with our loan so we can close on the house and get moving.

ssinca - I hope they at least pay for that commute!
Fri: not much
Sat: run, lounged, yey
Sun: dog park and lunch goodness with SL and adooooorable Jack and my dogs. Omg so cute!
OMG Felix's. It's my favorite restaurant in the circle.
Friday - Went to Labor & Delivery because there was a huge decrease in Kirklette's movement. She was fine, I guess she was just sleeping most of the day. Then, they check my cervix. I was screaming. I was such as wuss, and I have no idea how I'm going to push a baby out in a few weeks.
Saturday- Rested the whole day. DH put me on "bedrest" after the L&D trip. So my azz did nothing but watch netflix and eat.
Sunday: see Saturday. In addition to doing nothing, we went to church and brunch in the morning.
This week: Kirklette is full term! Our baby shower is Saturday, and DH & I are going to see Bill Cosby perform on Sunday.
duh, of course. I'm not that dumb. they also pay for my food, housing, rental car, mileage to the airport, flight, all of it.
and, since MH is perfectly content eating cereal for dinner, our grocery bills are like $5. he doesn't care if he eats organic or not. heh.
OMG! You are so close!! Once the princess didn't move for the entire day and we were all freaked out because they couldn't get the heartbeat and after 4 hours and several juice cartons, she finally rolled over. She was just sleeping! I'm so glad little Kirklette is ok!
PS- I was a complete wuss with no tolerance for pain when I delivered. I got the epidural 4cms in and didn't look back. Best decision I ever made!
