so our new sales manager asked me today 'are we all set for the sales meeting tomorrow'

i want to say 'oh you mean the one you have me exactly NO advance notice to plan?' whatever.

i tell him the meeting room is reserved and i have had one salesman call to let me know he needs a room tonight, that no one else has notified me that they need rooms, and that i'll wait till 11am, then call to hotel to notify them the names of the people who need rooms (i had already reserved 6)

he nods and says ok, and walks away.

i call the hotel, for some reason i don't have any rooms reserved online but i get the one room i need for the one sales guy who told me he needed one. the hotel lady is nice enough to ask me if i want to hold two rooms just in case. i say sure, but since no one else- including the sales manager whom i've already talked with- has told me they need a room i figure i won't need them.

i was wrong.

at 4:45 i hear the sales manager tell my co-worker that he is leaving for syracuse for the meeting. luckily my co-worker is smart and she knows i only booked one room and asks him if he is staying the night. i hear him say 'yes' and immediately want to scream. as soon as he leaves i call the hotel and get a room for him.

seriously, he sat in front of me and never said he needed a room, walked past me several times today and never said he needed a room, and got an e-mail reminder and never said he needed a freakin' room!

wtf is wrong with people?!
