CO Nestie wants to renew vows on Kauai - help?
Hi ladies,
I'm a regular on the CO board. My DH and I are celebrating our fifth anniversary (and my 30th bday - eek!) this fall with a trip to Kauai. We honeymooned in Maui and loved it and are now determined to visit all of the islands.
Anyway, we're kicking around the idea of renewing our vows while on Kauai - like a private little beach ceremony - and I'm not sure where to start. There seem to be tons of Kauai wedding planners but I'm hoping one of you ladies might have a personal recommendation. I'll take any advice I can get - even ideas about what beach to do the ceremony at, etc. Thanks!

Congrats, how exciting! I had my DW in Kauai (planned from CA) and just DIYd it. My married bio (link in siggy) has lots of reviews and links as well as details regarding our lei ceremony, etc.
Since it's a renewal, you don't have to worry about getting a license. If you want a package type deal I'd go with one of the North Shore resorts like Hanalei Colony Resort or Hanalei Bay Resort. I also love this property and think it would be amazing for a romatic getaway/vow renewal.

I keep reminding myself it could be worse...the year I graduated high school, it snowed 6 inches on our last day of school - in June!

The day I moved into the my first apartment, about 2 weeks after I moved to CO, the tornado sirens went off and I remember thinking...what did I just get myself into!?! Luckily we have better weather than any other state I've lived in, so I'll forgive the rouge May snow storms
