1 million things to do...
I feel bad for people who move frequently. I literally have schedule of things that DH and I need to do before we move that is INSANE. I have to find movers that are credible and affordable, find an affordable and credible company to ship our cars, sell our furniture, pack a million things, ship things, find a job, bring the dog along with us, and on and on.
AHHHHH. Help.

regarding the job situation...look into all the universities around your area and apply to all of them in the field that you have experience is, if you are an admin. assistant then every college needs that...
also look into the surrounding hospitals, there are admin positions as well and look at the surrounding lawyers offices etc...just email them/call them and ask if there are any position openings, maybe you could work part-time until you find something better...

Thanks, ladies. I assigned one thing to do each day and I feel better. My DH had to stay in LA instead of coming home today which just added to the stress. But, it will all get done in time somehow!
Ragazza (sorry I don't know your name!), unfortunately I can only work part time because of my illness so that has been a struggle. UCLA has a lot of full time positions and only one part time that I would be interested in. Another complication is that I need health insurance too. I am also applying at the apple store as well since they have health benefits. We'll see!
Jessica, thanks for that groupon link but we already have a mover we are working with. I have heard some horror stories from a couple of people about their movers disappearing for a week with their stuff and not knowing if they would even get it. I decided that I should definitely go with someone that came recommended from a friend or family member to be safe.
