Hi my name is bonsoirlune and I'm addicted to gardening.
This is our first year in our TH and MH thinks I'm nuts. We had done herbs/tomatoes on our condo balcony, but this is the first year I've had a little bit of a yard to play with. I don't even want to think about the bags and bags of potting soil. But, the front walkway looks great and my tomatoes are already nearly 3ft tall and have tons of buds. I do wish I had done a little more container recipe research, but I'm learning as I go. I got the last of the flowers for the summer containers now that some of my spring plantings have had it, it'll be my after work project for later this week.

Oh, I've been a garden adict my whole life. I spend most of my summer puttering around my townhouse yard - muttering at plants, weeding, raking, weeding, hand watering, etc.
There are definitely worse hobbies. (Un?)fortunately, MH is an enabler. He gets super-excited everytime something blooms or produces and doesn't complain about the $$ or the frequent requests for help.
I ran home tonight to fit in all the gardening I wanted to do before we went running. There's so much to do before sundown during the week!
Hehe...that's really sweet. I know MH gets excited over the herb/veggie part of it. I planted jalapenos at his request this year. He just thinks I'm nuts since I keep coming home with new plants. I hear you on trying to find time to get things planted during the week. That's my challenge this week, I quickly filled out on pot last night before dinner
