Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
I am redoing my blog. It is mostly just to get pictures out there for the grandparents of DC, and it seems to take forever to load them onto blogspot.
I like wordpress, but am confused as if I need to pay for the site espcecially if I upload lots of pictures or videos.
Which do you prefer and what tips do you have?
Re: Wordpress vs. Blogspot
I disliked Blogspot a lot because I did not find its UI very easy to use and it felt limited to me. I love WP, both of my blogs use it. Their UI is tricky but once you learn it, it can do so much! The themes vary is customizability which is really great.
And WP charges you to upload a lot, but I host my pictures elsewhere!

If you get a wordpress.com blog, it's free to upload pictures. I never got prompted that I had a limit.
