XP: Anybody have the Kobo e-reader from Chapters?

I post on the Nest Book Club a lot, but most of them are from the US.

Do any of you Canadian ladies have a Kobo e-reader? Chapters just released it for $149.99.

I'm trying to decide if I want one or not, and if I do, which one.

Just curious!

  • I just saw these the other day. I don't know much about the Kindle or other types of e-reader, but $149 sounded like a good deal. ?How much does it cost to download books? I think that e-readers are neat for traveling and things like that, but, to me, they'll never replace a good ol'fashioned book.
  • I am also interested in hearing what people think of the Kobo.

  • My sister has the Kobo app on her iPhone, and she got the new Sookie Stackhouse book that came out last tuesday for $9.99.

I don't know how that compares elsewhere. I paid $30+ for the hardcover of the book, so I'm thinking it's a good deal
