Out of towners looking for a restaurant to celebrate anniversary!
We'll be visiting Chicago now in May and we'll be having our ten year anniversary beginning of June. I have absolutely no idea what to do for it but then started thinking about how I wish I'd find some kind of fun/nice (not too pricey) restaurant where the staff could work with me to make it a fun evening. We'll be staying at the Renaissance Blackstone Hotel on South Michigan Ave and I don't know this area at all. But if you nesties have any kind of ideas for me how to surprise him somehow with something fun while we're there, I sure would appreciate any suggestions;-) All I can think about right now is to have something planned. I surprised him with a nice dinner by the sea many years ago and ordered a chocolate cake that he still to this day talks about. I'd like to find a restaurant where they have the BEST chocolate in town if possible to reminisce. So please help...........where should I take him?
