For the Picture Takers...
Locally owned Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes announces a ?Call for Entries? for its 2011 Grand Rapids Life Calendar Photo Contest. Local photographers are invited to submit digital photos for possible use in their 2011 calendar.
To enter, local photographers can send a maximum of five photos per household. The photos must have been taken in the Greater Grand Rapids area after January 1, 2008. Submitted photos should reflect and capture the spirit of Grand Rapids and emphasize landscapes, people, landmarks or activities happening in and around the Grand Rapids area. All photos must be accompanied with a short story (no more than 40 words) depicting the significance behind the photo and how it relates to ?Celebrating Life in Grand Rapids.?
Photographers can send their entries (digital photos with description) by email to: ronkarelse@lifestorynet.com.
Individuals of the winning entries will receive a $50 cash prize and have their photos published in the Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes 2011 Grand Rapids Life Calendar. For a complete list of rules, contact juli@adshopetc.com
