Random Questions for Wednesday
...since we are sleepy again in here, I thought I'd pose a few random questions taken from one of our coffee table books.
1. For a literally sensational experience, you have been offered the chance to jump off a diving board into a pool filled with ANYTHING of your choice. Into what substance would you want to jump? Why?
2. What is something you enjoy but most other people feel is a chore?
3. If you could proclaim a new national holiday, what would it be, how would it be celebrated and what time of year would it take place?

1. Pudding. It just seems like it would be fun to jump into!
2. I enjoy doing my taxes! I love the puzzle work in figuring out how I can get more of a refund. haha
3. I'd probably do a national holiday (day off work) recognizing public services - firefighters, police officers, etc.
1. I think lime Jell-O, but only if it was cut up into the cubes they show on the Jell-O commercials. I would be afraid that if it was a giant block of Jell-O, it would suck me in (which is weird).
2. Hmmmm......I actually kind of enjoy cleaning the bathroom.

TTC on hold until December
1. Powdered sugar. I'd be afraid of inhaling it and choking to death, but I like how fluffy it is. So maybe a better answer would be meringue. The fluffy-ness and not inhaling seem appealing.
Jell-o in general freaks me out. The jiggle, the taste, the consistency. eek. It would be cool to jump into though.
2. Researching things that have nothing to do with what I need. Example: My BFF is pregnant and I've been doing consumer research on car seats, strollers, cloth diapers, etc. I'm not pregnant and it's going to take medical intervention to get there, thus I am years away from needing to know.
3. I would have a best friend's day. It would be during the summer, maybe the end of July and would be a day off of work to spend time with friends. I think we often don't spend enough time with our OOT friends.

If possible, peanut butter. I ABSOLUTELY love peanut butter so why not... if that would be too hard then marshmellows.
2. What is something you enjoy but most other people feel is a chore?
I don't mind vacuuming... mainly because I convinced DH to get a Dyson and I love it. Swiffering the floor is a different story.
3. If you could proclaim a new national holiday, what would it be, how would it be celebrated and what time of year would it take place?
National accountants day. Haha jk Probably something to honor families. We have mothers day and fathers day but what about something to celebrate families (be it just husband and wife, with children, extended families, etc).

Styrofoam peanuts. I loved playing in boxes full of them when I was a kid.

Organizing things. My movies are alphabatized (I can't believe I just admitted that) and markers in the box need to stay in rainbow order. Okay, so maybe I'm just a bit OCD.
3. If you could proclaim a new national holiday, what would it be, how would it be celebrated and what time of year would it take place?
The beginning of August because there aren't any major holidays that month. National Pajama Day, with mandatory cute pj pants worn to work and nap time that day. Before anyone says it's too hot in August, kindly remember that the A/C will probably be on and if your building's anything like those I've worked in -- you may be in a hoodie, anyway!

I would jump into a pool filled with Bubble Bath. My favorite time of day is when I can take a really hot bubble bath. I would love one I could swim around in!

I like shaving my legs. Most of my girlfriends complain about it...but I like it. Mostly because it happens during my favorite time, bath time.
3. If you could proclaim a new national holiday, what would it be, how would it be celebrated and what time of year would it take place?
I think we should get Thanksgiving week off. Not just the day, but the whole week. We do enough cooking, it takes several days. So I would call it Fatty Week, because we make all the yummy fatty foods. :-)
