New Homes in Heritage- Keller ?
Hey girls! DH and I are thinking of buying a new home in the heritage area and are trying to get an idea of what the electricity bill may be like.
The house is 2600sf and completely energy efficient. Thank you so so so much!
Re: New Homes in Heritage- Keller ?
I live very close to Heritage. We're in Crawford Farms and our house is around 2,500 square feet, 2-story, and energy efficient. Last month, we paid $98 for our electric bill and the month before was about $78. Typically, at the height of summer, it can go up to $200-$220 though. We use Tri-County Electric.
Hope this helps!
Make sure you're comparing the same thing- does the house you're looking at have gas for heat?
Our elec bills are MUCH higher than stated here but we only have elec heat (no gas to our house at all) and it is expensive
Good point, MrsMeg!
We have a gas heat and stove/oven and so that makes a difference too.
ETA: Our house is entirely electric - no gas.
Hi, We currently own a house in Heritage. It is a little over 3000 sq feet and 12 foot ceilings in a few rooms. During the cooler months, it was very inexpensive as we would turn the upstair unit off unless we were up there. SUmmer time, June-August ran about $250-$300 depending on what we kept it at. I LOOOOOVE Heritage neighorhood and miss it.
We also used the Tri-Country Electric Cooperative.
