Where to find 50 Mini potted succulent plants or mini potted plants??

Hi all,   I need about 50 little mini potted plants that we are using as favors for a garden bridal shower- I would prefer mini succulents but if it?s hard to get then I?ll take any other type of mini plant?   Not sure where to look or start? Where can I get these?  Home Depot garden center or somewhere else?   TIA

Re: Where to find 50 Mini potted succulent plants or mini potted plants??

  • Well its not exactly what you asked but... I got a bunch of mini terra cotta pots at Michaels. No plants in them though.

  • I did this with with the little pots from michaels filled with johnny jump-ups (look like pansies) that I got form a garden center.  Ikea, if you have one near you, often has mini succulents at a great price.  You may be able to talk to a local garden center or florist about a discount for ordering in bulk.
  • I would check with a local nursery about getting a flat of succulents, usually there are 32/flat. Flats of plants are also insanely cheap if you go through a wholesale nursery.  I would buy the pots and plants separately instead of trying to find them already potted, you'll save tons of money, and sliding a plant out of a flat into a little pot is super easy.
  • I recently did this for a party, we got the pots from Ikea and plants and soil from Home depot-though, I agree, you could probably find the plants cheaper from a nursery.  Repotting them was super easy.

  • I'm guessing that all Lowes will have different things in stock. But I was at my local one and they had mini (2") potted succulents. I'm not sure of the exact price, but I know they were fairly inexpensive, had a nice variety and super cute.

    Good Luck
