Wedding Dress cleaning

I am looking for a place to send my wedding dress to get cleaned. It can be anywhere between Boca Raton to Coral Gables. I have received two quotes for about $200-$250...is this the standard pricing for getting this done? I do not need it preserved in a box..just cleaned. Thanks in advance!

Re: Wedding Dress cleaning

  • I recommned Society Cleaners.  I used them to clean my wedding dress and I had it done a year after my wedding (I know sham on me), and they got every stain out even after it had been sitting for over a year.  I was a little skeptical about leaving it there, but was very pleased with the results!  The price range sounds right!!!!

I hope this was helpful and good luck Big Smile

  • I used wedclean.com.  They preserve the dress also but for those price quotes it might be worth looking into even if it's just for the cleaning.

  • I had mine done through forever flowers in Boca and it was like 149.99. They send it out though so I dont know if that bothers you. It turned out great!

  • My mom and I were just talking about this today!  She is going to hold on to my dress when I move and get it cleaned and preserved for me.

We were wondering, if you get it preserved and it's stuffed in a bag or box when they give it to you, how do you know they do a good job? I know it's weird but I wonder.

Alain was just posting on FB today that one of his bride's dresses was ruined by the cleaners so I want to make sure it's okay before it's put away.  I mean how would you know if it was cleaned well before it was preserved?

With my dress from Wedclean, they gave me instructions on how to open the box so that I could examine my dress when I got it back.  Just make sure your hands are clean.
