First I would love to know what is wrong with my brain. I went to the mall to get an outfit for tonight. I know money is tight. I know I should be saving. So how is it that I came home with six blouses, a dress, a cardigan, two pairs of shoes, a purse, decorative barettes, shapewear, and two necklaces?
Granted, the grand total for all of that was under $250, but still. I'm a lunatic.
The lighting in my apartment is hideous, but here's the best pic I could take of the dress I decided on for tonight:
So, now I need your help accessorizing. Pick a necklace:
The one on the left is a bird - very Carrie Bradshaw circa season 3/4. The one on the right is much bigger/makes more of a statement - pearls and netting and beads, oh my!
Okay, and pick a shoe:
The one on the left is actually a fuscia velvet (think David's Bridal "Watermelon" color); the one on the right is a flat, but I like the design on the toe.
Help again, please

Re: Okay, so...
I'm not really going to give you a definitive answer, because I think you have two options:
a.) the dress with the bird necklace and the red-ish shoes, or
b.) the dress with the statement necklace and the flats
I think either option works, but I wouldn't do the statement necklace AND the red-ish shoes. Just one too many standout pieces for me.
ps- the dress is adorable!
ETA: Looking at things again, I vote option A.
I survived the RoLex wedding and all I got was this lousy husband.

Cute dress! I really like it!
I'm going to vote bird necklace with basic black pump (do you own a pair?), otherwise fuschia pump. I really like the flats, but I don't think it's a flats kind of venue.
