HM Dishwasher Detergent Help

I made HM Dishwasher detergent from this recipie... and  while my dishes are getting clean, my glasses are seriously foggy.  Help! 

Dry ingredients:3 cups baking soda1 cup borax? cup citric acid*
Wet ingredients:
Essential oil (optional)Vinegar

Mix dry ingredients in a container and shake to mix. Keep wet ingredients on-hand for each load of dishes.

This is my recipe. You water conditions are probably different that mine. You will have to play with the ratios to get something that works for your water. Another option is to simply wipe then with a slightly damp cloth as you put them away. (That is a deal-breaker for some, but became second nature for us until I perfected the recipe for our water.)

I've given up on homemade dishwasher detergent for the same reason. My glasses looked awful. Nothing helped. I think type of water (hard vs soft) makes a difference.

I would add more citric acid.

I'm having the same problem. I've tried adding more vinegar, hoping for a better rinse, but that's not helping. I may try adding more citric acid. It's definitely a balancing act, trying to find the right recipe for your water.
