What's wrong with my mountain laurels?

I have three mountain laurels in my shade garden. Two of them have been getting these nasty brown spots on the leaves, then the leaves turn yellow. They're not dying or falling off though, and there's plenty of new leaves growing on them. Has anyone had this happen before or know what's going on?

That happens to all of my mountain laurels and they're native to NJ (where I am) so I can only assume that it's relatively normal.  It might be from not enough sun combo with too much rain and they can't dry off enough?  They keep growing and blooming though, so don't worry about it.

Can you post some pictures? I'd really need to see it to tell you if it's fungal or bacterial.
