Our 3rd anniversary is coming up, and we're basically in a spending freeze around here since we're trying to throw extra $$ at getting my student loan paid off (our only debt--yay!). I want to get DH something he'll enjoy without really spending much of anything. I can't really make anything because he works from home and he's always here when I am here, and my schedule means going to bed before he does on most nights, so there's no real way to be secretly crafty. He's a music and arts lover, a Methodist pastor, cat lover, doesn't care for sports or gadgets. Uh...I guess that's it. Any ideas??
Re: Anniversary ideas
Love this idea.
That would be awesome, but we live in extreme BFE right now. Man, I miss the city!
ha....maybe its time for a little drive!
I'm of the opinion that the boy should make anniversary plans for the lady. That being said - DH and I do exchange gifts.
I've made him a scrapbook-like thing full of reasons I love him. I've made him his favorite cookies. I know both are hard because of working situation, but can you do any of this from work, or at a friend's? Maybe play nooky hooky one day, plan a picnic and spend the day together doing nothing?
Are there museums near you (even hokey ones?)? We went to the museum of surgical science once and loved it. It was so fascinating.

I could do something from work, possibly. Can't take the actual day off because I haven't got any PTO at my job yet and I'm already committed to taking a field trip that day, anyhow. Trying to drag him away from work is difficult, but I might be able to swing a museum trip or something...we do have a hokey one here that we've not really been to yet. Hmm. Definite food for thought
