Part of me just wants to eat it all right now.
You gals have me soooo jealous of your BB haul! I wish I could talk DH into doing a weekly grocery run to the valley instead of just my once a month TJ's fix. I'd totally jump on the BB train! It sounds so yummy!
We have a co-op up here, and I even purchased a share last year, but we really didn't get much for the money. It was kind of a dissappointment.
So today was hectic with DS's birthday party (which was fun btw). But I did make it up to Taylors to pick up the basket. I am super excited about the corn and fruit. I have no clue what to do with butternut squash. And I HATE brusellsprouts. DH only likes them covered with cheese.
Nevertheless, I am super excited about the corn. I was jealous last week!!
DH volunteered again today and came home with a ton of stuff!
He was fortunate enough to score and extra watermelon and 7 butternut squash's.
You ladies should wake up an hour early and volunteer! It seriously pays off!!!

I keep meaning to do this. My pickup seems to have a ton of volunteers though - and they're always the same people...so I worry that maybe they won't take me!
I am hoping to volunteer in the next week or so, i felt bad because last weekend there was only one lady there but ysterday there were four.
We got yellow fruits - but they are mangoes...

DH is the only person to ever volunteer at our site, so they were thrilled to have someone help. Which location do you go to?

From what DH told me, they could use volunteers! lol
BTW, he also told me we were shorted a lot of produce this week, and only 6 of the 10 cakes showed up for the extras.. I am still thrilled with my basket, but feel bad for the people that show up late to get theirs.
