AW: post baby weight loss plan

I luckily lost all of my baby weight by 2 weeks post partum.  But for those of you who may know, I started out about 20-30 pounds overweight.  Either way, I still can't wear my pre-preg jeans.........stupid belly!  They fit everywhere else, but won't zip.  One pair zips if you don't mind having a flabby muffin top.

Well, DH has baby weight to lose too.  So we bought a treadmill and a small flat screen to watch tv/movies to entertain us on the treadmill.  WOOHOO!!!  It will be delivered on friday and I can finally work on the extra weight I have been carrying around.

  • Well you're doing better than me! Haley is 4 1/2 months old and I've got about 30 pounds to lose, if you include the pre-pregnancy weight. I just can't seem to get motivated! I just need to get off my a** and do it!
  • Yeah... Noah is 13 months old and I still have 25 pounds to go to get to my pre-preg weight. (Um, I gained 60 pounds! Crying )  I won't be losing it anytime soon though. We are going to be trying for #2 soon!!!!!! Smile
  • Yea!  I was wondering if you would be having another soon!  I am excited to have another in a couple of years.  Although, I will need my husband to get some good dad-nesia to forget about the colicky phase we are going through.  It was better yesterday, and better yet today.  Do you prefer to have a baby during a particular time of year, or just whenever?  I was glad to have Emma before the REALLY hot part of summer hit.

  • Yes, we sort of have to have a baby in a particular time of the year because my husband coaches track... so spring is out.  Although, spring would be my ideal time.  I don't want to have a baby in late fall/winter because I don't want to be stuck in the house with a brand new baby and not be able to do anything. We are shooting to have a baby somewhere between late June to August. Yes, I very tight time frame. I am very thankful that it only took us 2 months to get pregnant for Noah and I'm hoping for the same this time around. If we don't get pregnant within the next 3 months than we will probably strongly think about stopping and waiting until next September to try again.
