Re: how was your weekend?
Ours was nice.
Friday night we went to a friend's kid's birthday party. E had a blast. It was Sponge Bob theme.
Saturday night we went to my friend's birthday party. Just for me and DH was $80. Ouch. We had a great time though.
Yesterday we went to the zoo then let E play in the sprinkler.
Ours was OK. I did a good bit of cleaning and we went to IL's for H's bday crawfish boil.
I found out that we probably aren't going on an anny. trip. We were counting on my sister to get us a hotel discount and by the time she remembered (typical for her), the hotel she could get us a discount at was booked up. Ugh...oh well.

have you considered a B&B type of thing? that's what we did for our 1st ann. We went to Natchitoches and stayed at a B&B, we were the only ones there so we had the whole house to ourselves. Did some shopping around town, they have a really nice little shopping area (cool cooking store too!) and some good restaurants.
We didn't think about it. We were planning a trip to Biloxi...I just think we're gonna nix it since we had our hearts set on there, you know?

I hear ya. We're thinking about going stay with my brother in Metairie for Memorial Day weekend. Hit up the zoo and then go to Biloxi to the beach one day. If the beach isn't all messed up, we'll see.
Oh fun!! I love the zoo!
I hope the beaches aren't messed up either.
