So I saw your new pic of Britton, and I am curious- which water table do you have? Does B like it? I want to get one for Liam but I am not sure which one is best, esp. at this age.

Looks like he is having fun!!

Re: ::Elisa::

  • It is the Step Two Artic Splash Water Table.  And the only reason I chose it, is because it was on sale. ;)  $29 versus $39. And I haven't seen any less expensive.  I tried looking for a used one, but I found nothing.

    B likes the fact that he can splash to his heart's content and pour water out.  He makes a mess. ;)  But the "glacier thing" is not sturdy at all.  I think I may hot glue it together.  The little toy animals are worthless.  B had no concept of what the glacier or the toys are for at this age.

    I like the height and the fact that I fill it once per play.

    My honest opinion?  Get Liam a different one. I don't think that I'd buy this one again.  It seems "boring".  But what do I know about what 12=24 month olds like. ;)

     Darn it that's the same one I was looking at!! I read online that the "glacier thing" wasn't super sturdy, and several people said that they glued it together.  I have been stalking CL for awhile now, and it doesn't seem like anyone in my area is selling one! I wanted to avoid the sand/water combos, as it seems like Liam would take two minutes to turn it into a mud table. I also read that you can use the one you have with lentils and things, so it could be used indoors, etc. Since we don't have a pool, I was hoping that maybe this would be enough fun to make up for it!

       We may wind up with the same one anyway! haha But thank you for your review- I will let you know what we wind up with!
