My DH laid into my @ss Saturday about still using both crutches so I laid one down and am walking with one crutch! WOO HOO! I even planted some flowers yesterday afternoon and by the time I was done my crutch was on the other side of the yard - and guess who walked over to get it? ME! I am so happy.
The following pics are post surgery - again if you are easy icked out then do not look, but I promise nothing oooey or goooey.

Are you using mederma? It worked wonders on the scar on my chin.
Holy crap! I can't believe all that from (I was going to say snowing the throwball) your snowball incident.
Glad to hear you are on the mend though! Good luck with the rest of the recuperation--I hope you gain confidence and strength in leaps and bounds!!
Yes this was from the fall in Myrtle Beach - I am so happy to be healing and the PT says I am doing really well on working with my range of motion.
Shoe - I havent gotten the mederma yet. I was going to try cocoa butter, but if you say the mederma works well then I may have to try it!
