WR: Are you sick of your colors/themes?
I've been reflecting on this since I finally commited to and purchased an area rug for our dining room.
It's damask.
Which is a print I used in my wedding. I thought I'd be so over the print (especially because it was such an '09 trend), but apparently I'm not.

Colors? Nope, I love the color combo. It seems like it was fresh and new a year ago, and now I see the combo together all the time. Still love it.
Theme? Um, who can get sick of martinis and wine?

Colors? No. We did sage and ivory for the ceremony/reception, then deep purple for the after party. I love these colors, especially the purple.
Theme? Nofreakingway. Our "theme" was destination wedding. Best decision I ever made.
I survived the RoLex wedding and all I got was this lousy husband.

Nope. Went with Black & White. We used damask pattern sparingly, and I still like that too.
Are you in need of an area rug?
This is what I got!

Is that 2 area rugs, or a mirror? I really like them, and I was hesitant at first when you said damask rug.

Nope - never! Yellow has always been my favorite color and always will be. Everytime my mom and I see someone wearing yellow, black, and white we discuss how it would have been the perfect wedding outfit.
Light blue and bright red was and is a unique color combination and I still like it.
Our theme was country chic, which is not something I want for my house (or wanted, for that matter), but was totally appropriate for where I got married, so I'm happy we did it.

ooh i love it! i'm hesitant about buying any rugs for a while because of the babies... there's still an accident every once in a great while.
Come to think of it that could be a great color/design inspiration for our spare bedroom. now the wheels are spinning....
I like the damask Mames!
I am not sick of mine at all, in fact-I wish our house looked more like our wedding did! purples, greens, organic elegance ~ I would love to add some more of those aspects to our home.
