Sooo.. our lawn is so non EF. We moved in and it was pretty barren and all weeds, the soil is sandy, we have very little shade, and we have a strict HOA. DH went to town with stuff like grub killer, fertilizer, seed, weed killer, peat moss, and we did a few truckloads of topsoil.
Anyway.. I digress. There are a few patches that aren't growing well. The lawn is lush, gorgeous, and well established, but there are a few patches that are just bald. I have about 1.5 years of compost that is still what I consider to be "working".
Sorry to ramble - but do you think if I dig down to where the compost has turned into decent 'dirt', I should sprinkle it on those patches, and that would help a lot or be feasible? Obviously we would have to do more seed, keep watered too.
