I noticed you are pregnant, congratulations!  Do you know the sex yet?  Do you have a name picked yet?

Have you thought of starting a blog to track your pregnancy like BunniesAreSoft?  I love her blog!

Re: **The_Jen**

  • Thank you so much!!!!

Not everyone knows IRL yet, about 75% of our friends and family know.  We are only 10 weeks, can't find out the sex until about 20 weeks (Halloween time!)  But yes, we will be finding out, for sure!  I am a total planner and wish that I could already start registering and picking baby stuff out!

We have a couple names. Our last name sounds like "Brownie", so we like "B" names... Bianca is my #1 if it's a girl (I want a girl!), I also like Ava, Eleanor, Elizabeth, Abigail and Annabelle.  I love the name Margot but DH and all of my friends veto'd it. For boys names we like Brock, I also like Jonathan, and Benjamin. We aren't 100% sure yet... I'm open to suggestions!

I think I will make a little blog on myspace once I announce to the entire world that we are expecting, probably at 11 or 12 weeks.

The hardest part for me so far is the not drinking.  I'm 6 weeks sober! I am a very social drinker, and we were in a wedding last night and it sucked to not even be able to do the champagne toast.  It's worth it to have a healthy baby, but it's been hard for me so far.  I went on a girl's trip to Kahneeta and it was very wierd for me to be the sober one!  So I had to tell all of my girlfriends at 7 weeks, which is before I normally would have told them. My friends were very supportive and kept the virgin daquiri's coming all day!

We tried for a looong time to get pregnant, so we are so excited. I had just reached the point where I was starting to think it would never happen. Every doctor's appt and every time I puke it gets a little more "real". It really is an amazing thing to be going through. Oh, and right now we call the baby "Bean".

    Big Smile

  • I love your name choices (my name is Elizabeth, so I wholeheartedly approve of that name), and I'm rooting for you to have a girl too!  Let's face it, the clothes are adorable.  Don't forget to let the board know when find out the sex!

It's funny you mention the drinking thing.  When we were on our honeymoon on the Oregon coast there was a group of people from Mexico City staying at our hotel and one of them was pregnant--and she drank wine every night with us!  It was really strange. It's good that you have supportive friends. Big Smile

  • Oh I will definetly be drinking wine at the end of my 2nd and in my 3rd tri. For sure.

I hada dream last night that it's a boy. I really would be happy either way!
