Which counter at Nordstrom's for makeup?

I don't think MAC is all that bad.  They have good quality make up and lots of color selection.  I've been using this brand called Sei Bella and I absolutely LOVE it.  Only problem is, you can't buy it in stores.  It's only available through catalog.

  I do love their make-up (and the wide spectrum of colors), but the artists tend to be heavy-handed.  It'll help if you have a picture showing them what you want though.  I just don't want you looking like Lady Gaga when it's all done!

Ooooh, I didn't know they had a smashbox counter!  I'm totally onboard with them.  I always hear such great things about their makeup, but never get around to trying any.  I'll call and set up an appointment with them tomorrow. 

I do love Lady Gaga, but I don't want to look like her in my pictures.

Oh, I disagree. Yes, some can be heavy-handed but not all. Anne at the downtown Nordstrom Mac counter does a really fabulous job. She did my makeup for my b-pics and it was such a nice, subtle yet beautiful look. I would highly recommend her.

Prescriptives for anything moisturizer/foundation related.

OK, I took all y'alls advice.  I have an appointment with Anne on Friday. 

The Ann from here has promised to beat up the artist if she makes me all sparkly and stuff.

I'm not saying that MAC make-up makes you look like a drag queen.  I love  their make-up.  I've seen 3 friends (with 3 different artists) come out looking rather tranny, so that's where my concern came from.
