As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

yet another privacy setting to fix on FB *sigh*
I didn't find out about this one until today, not sure how long it's been there (so this could be ancient news lol) - it shares your profile data with non-Facebook websites. It's automatically set to "Allow" so you have to opt out. Go to Account > Privacy Settings > Applications and Websites >Instant Personalization > Edit Settings and uncheck "Allow".
Thought I'd pass it on in case other people didn't know (and might care lol) about it too.

Yes, that (we'll call it #1)... and....
#2 Go to Application Settings. Even though I did what you mentioned (#1), guess who got on there? Yes. The Nest. Remove any applications that you don't want.
#3 Hilarious!!!! My gay friend posted this today. FB will list your likes based on other things you have entered. His likes? Women. Homecoming. He said FB must have picked it from book titles that were on his likes list. This evolves into #3.5 which is that FB creates pages for everything you like. I went through my Info page on my profile and removed every page. Take that FB. I like nothing.
