And the Mayo Clinic has a ton of openings as well. Since my summer plans changed, I'm looking for a job earlier than expected.

Aww, almost all of them are "on-call."  And the only full-time one that i'd be a match for is nights & I hate nights.    Thanks for letting me know though.  This is becoming very frustrating!

I feel ya. I graduated Medical Assisting school when I was 6 months pregnant, so obviously couldn't start working right away. So now, I can't get a job because I have no experience and have been out of school for over a year.

I applied for one at Mayo.  My prob. is I'm not into critical care or ER & that's what it seems a lot of the open positions are for. 

Sorry you're having some trouble too.  This crappy economy has really taken a toll on hospitals.  Good luck w/your search!
