and lavendar issues. boy i am just full of them today

i started those from seed and they look nothing like the lavendar in home depot.  the leaves are very large and triangular in shape.  wth?
sometimes all you really need in life is a pink wig.

  • How big are they?  I think the young plants have nursery leaves before their true leaves emerge.  I wouldn't be worried.  Lavender and rosemary take a while to establish from seed, they're slow growers.  Here's a picture from Flickr, I am certain yours are normal.image
  • I know there are quite a few varieties of lavender.  Could those you planted maybe be different from what you've seen elsewhere?

Lavendar has a lot of cultivars.  And lavendar is notorious for not breedign true through seed.  Which is my most lavendar gets propogated through cuttings.
