This is so hard!

I had to leave Allyson at her first day of daycare today.  This is the hardest thing i've ever had to do!  I was crying before I even left the door.  I know she'll be ok but god I wish I could have stayed home longer.  Its going to be  a long day!!  Luckily i'm working from home today so that I'm close by but tomorrow i'm going into the office, i hate this!

Re: This is so hard!

  • Awww....the first day is the hardest.  I'm sure Allyson will do great & it will get easier for you.  Good luck!

  • It is hard.  But, it does get easier.  You will probably find that Allyson will grow to love going to daycare.  She will grow and learn so much, you will be amazed!!  GL!  ((hugs))
  • No matter what age and where it happens, the first separation from your baby like that is always tough......  she'll be fine, though!  Things like this are always much harder on us moms than on the little ones.  It hardly phases them and is even good for them (and us).

I'm sure that you put lots of time and thought into making her daycare arrangements, be comforted by the fact that you know that Allyson is in great hands!

  • I can imagine that it would be very hard!  I hope that each day gets a little easier for you.  Try to focus on the positive things of having her in daycare.
  • It was my first day back at work too today.  OMG....it is so friggin hard.  I cried everyday last week and then 2 hours this morning.  It was horrible.  I did get to go and see him for lunch....and that helped a lot.  I got to play with him and then put him down for his nap.  But it is so hard.  Everyone says it gets easier....let's hope so!
