Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
I'd love to pick your brain about the SF Bay Area, I was just offered a position there, and we have no idea where to live, what to expect, etc. What places would you recommend? We're open to being in the heart of SF or somewhere outside the city.
TIA!

Re: **Rock**
CONGRATULATIONS!!! That's so exciting, and you must be psyched to start the next stage of your career. It sounds like you're definitely taking this job?
The first thing you should know is that cost of living in the Bay Area is very high, much more so than the Boston area. Maybe we should talk off-board so that you can give me more details so I can give you better recommendations. It would help to know exactly where the job is so I can figure out the best areas for you to live. Ideally I think you should live in the city itself for the best experience, but if you're working on the peninsula or South Bay, then that commute would suck.
E-mail me at rocknvoll at gmail and let's talk some more. Also, the ladies on the NorCal board are fantastic and super active, so when you're ready you should feel free to start posting questions over there too.
