Yepp, here on lunch break. Work is finally starting to let up a bit, things have been crazy here for the past few months so it's kinda nice...

I'm here. I'm stalling on going to the financial aid office today. I despise my school's financial aid dept. because the office is always in chaos and they never know what the eff is going on. My online school account says the loan* has been accepted and it has shown up on my statement from the lender, but I've yet to see a check. I'm really worried it's gotten lost somehow. Another reason why direct deposit would be so much easier, but no, of course the school doesn't do that.

*Edited to make sense...my brain isn't working apparently.

Thanks, ladies. I can use all the help I can get! Luckily, it looks like my current position will be renewed, but that doesn't help me out much with the permanency, location and benefits situations.

Just got here!  We went to a lawyer this morning to do estate planning.  I love my husband, but even more when we are in serious, adult situations.  He is the only one with which I have ever wanted to do that kind of boring yet absolutely essential stuff!
