I LOVE your blog! My dad's side of the family is from Pittsburgh! Every time the Steelers play in Florida we get tickets (my dad's cousin is one of the team photographers)! This year we will be spoiled with a game in Tampa and Miami... but then after that they won't be in Florida until 2014! So I guess we will be traveling up to the "burgh" for a game each year until they are back in Florida!
*When my husband asked my dad for his permission to marry me my father said yes, under one condition... that he would convert to be a Pittsburgh fan, and my husband laughed and said "yes".... needless to say he wears the colors and logo's well!
Glad to see another Steeler's fan in CFL!

Hey, you! Thanks so much for saying you like my blog. We love the Stillers so much that we got married at the stadium last year.
We find it so much easier to get tickets for the Steelers here in Florida than for the games in PA, which are always sold out. Hopefully, I will be going to some Pittsburgh games in December when I am up there for the holidays.
Where's your dad from in Pittsburgh? We're from the south.
Also, have you ever been to the one Rooney bar near West Palm/Jupiter? They have the games on and serve all Pittsburgh food, so good! We have gone after going to the beach before.

Hi! Wow--that's crazy you guys got married in the stadium!
My dad grew up in the Homestead/Munhall area, but has family all over Pitt; Bethel Park, Mt. Washington, West Mifflin, Squirell Hill... etc. You get the point!
Nope--I've never been down to Rooney Bar... I'll have to put it on my list of places to visit in FL!
