When was your last haircut?
I'm ashamed to say that it's been almost a year and a half since my last haircut. Please tell me I'm not the only one who's gone this long without a cut.

This is my problem. I've been to several hairdressers here, but none of them really blew wind up my skirt, so to speak. There was one that I had high hopes for - she did an amaaaaazing job the first time I went to her, but the second time was just NOT GOOD (she cut my bangs like 2" too short), so I don't know if she's good and the second cut was a fluke, or if she's bad and the first one was. I'm not sure I want to risk that it's the second one...
(Raising hand here) I'm like that - I go long stretches without haircuts about. I think I'm on the annual haircut program . My grows like crazy, almost an inch a month. I usually just wash and wear pulled back into a bun. Then when I start getting tangled up in it while sleeping then I know it's time to chop it off and start all over.

I just had one before I returned to work, but before that it was way over a year!
I'm good friends with my hair stylist and she finally just cut my hair for free one day when I was at her house - probably b/c she was embarrassed on my behalf!!

I know, I know. I feel so guilty about this! I found a stylist that I loved, saw her twice and then the salon she worked at shut down. There was contact info and updates for the other stylists but not her. Well, finally the other day on Yelp, I came across someone's review and found where the stylist is at now! I guess I have no excuse and should make an appt asap!

My high lights look terrible! I'm not sure what possessed me to get highlights after having Elyse in light of the fact that I can't seem to make it to the hair dresser.
I normally go about 6 weeks between haircuts, I have fine hair that is cut in a longer bob so it needs maintenance... needless to say, I'm not 11 weeks since my last haircut and I look like a shaggy puppy.
Thankfully I'm going in on Saturday.

haha. sorry, i'm another offender here...i've had 1 haircut that i've really loved in the last erm, 8-10 years. that was a few months before we got engaged, so even though i intended/wanted to go back to her (even though she was *really* expensive - seriously. ouch) regularly, i never did. i let it grow out so i could wear it up for our wedding. before that (and now), i get my hair cut about once every...1.5-2 years? very much like a pp - i grow it out until it's so long i can't stand it anymore, and chop it off again - to above my shoulders. i don't color, blowdry, style, or anything like that either...i walk out of the shower, towel it, run my fingers through it, and i'm out the door. i brush it once a day, right before bed.
but amy, i've often thought, if i lived near you, i'd be a regular! i need to find a stylist i love, who won't cost me $1000+/year if i went regularly...
Lisa, you should go to Sean! He's so good. And you just have to walk downstairs! How easy is that?
I haven't cut my hair since a week before I gave birth. I really need a haircut but don't know what to do with my hair. And I don't have a stylist here that I love, either. Usually I get my hair cut every 3 months or so.
I'm with you! well minus the eye brow wax and add in color because I'm hiding grey. 26 with grey is not cool!
