Dear Apartment Complex,
When I called you two weeks into my lease complaning about the washer, you told me that it simply got stuck between load sizes. When I called you on Wednesday because my kitchen flooded, you told me that I must be filling the washer too full of clothes on a load and causing the overflow drain to overflow. I'm looking forward to calling you this afternoon, with a flooded kitchen I didn't mop up this time, after having run the washer with no laundry at all through several loads this morning.
Yours truly,
One irritated tenant

Dear Boss,
You are the best! Thanks for surprising us all this morning with an e-mail saying that we can go home early this afternoon since it is a long weekend! It is small gestures like this that make it great to work for you!
Sincerely,
Your Favorite Employee

Dear Neighborhood residents,
You all have very cute dogs and it's very awesome that you like to play with them outside. However, a leash or a fence is a very important thing. It's not cool that when I am walking my dog, on his leash, that they come charging down the street at him and I and ruin our walk. This is made worse when they are large aggressive dogs. Please follow the leash laws.
Also, it makes it very hard to get anywhere when they run out in front of the car all the time. I don't want them to get hit and eventually that is what is going to happen.
Thanks!
Perturbed pet owner
Dear Crazy Neighbor,
I'm honestly getting fed up with you constantly placing cones along your property and parking your car in the street to "prove a point". We get it, you're annoyed that they built our houses after all these years. But deal with it now... we're here to stay! Otherwise, I will get something like these to put up in our yard right in front of your house!
Also, I understand that you like to leave your dog off a leash. But I really don't appreciate it when your 70 pound dog- that you cannot control- comes barreling at me with your daughter's dog behind her to play with my 15 pound dog.
Sincerely,
Your ticked off neighbor
Dear Meritain, my health insurance company,
I hope when President Obama does his overhaul of healthcare that he decides to shut down your company. I don't understand how you can put all my earlier claims through that you once denied, then deny one, and then put two more through after the latest denial. Are you all really that incompetent or are my expectations too high that I should not actually expect you to do things correctly? I sure hope my husband's insurance is better next year with his new job because I will be bidding you a very fond good riddance!!!
Sincerely,
A ticked off and irritated patient
Dear H's Boss,
I think you are a jacka$$. You have no sense of equality in the workplace. With only managing three other people, it is unfair to the two that actually do work to have only one of them working weekends while you are busy. You need to take serious action with the employee who is not working up to his potential and either let him go or take disciplinary action.
Yes, you do have one person gets the work done equivalent of three people accomplished. However, your lack of equality is creating havoc in my marriage and a poor attitude for an employee. It's also creating a hostile attitude with your employees when you fail to show up on Saturdays and leave early a few times a week for appointments when your employees are working 4 hours of OT daily.
While on the subject of equality, start asking other employees for a ride to work from the train station. By asking H, you are frequently making him late. Yes, you are his boss and he won't receive disciplinary action from you. HR, on the other hand, doesn't see that lateness as kindness like you do. The train station is out of the way, a hassle, and frankly as an adult, TAKE A TAXI, A BUS, OR GET A FLIPPING CAR TO LEAVE AT THE STATION!
Thank you,

Only problem is, DH is currently looking for a new job so I'm not trying to go on his if he's just going to be leaving soon. I checked on how mine covers pregnancy but I'm hoping by then, I'll be able to go on DH's insurance when he gets a new job.
