Whats everyone doing this weekend?

I'm determined to work in the master bedroom.  That project has been a thorn in my side for waaay too long now.

What are you ladies up to this weekend?

Re: Whats everyone doing this weekend?

  • Isn't it funny how when you're fixing up your house, the master seems to get pushed aside a lot?  That always happens to me.

I have my first ticket on the BB train.  Toot Toot!  Excited for that!

More unpacking and hopefully a little landscaping (digging is harrrrdddd work).  Oh and G has a bball playoff game tomorrow afternoon.

  • Date night tonight! When he gets picked up this afternoon it will be the first time since he was born that i will be in my own house all alone. I don't even know what I should do.

Has anyone been to Jasper's in N. Scottsdale? That's where we're going for dinner tonight.

Saturday: I'm sleeping in. Then picking up my BB from you Tay! And bringing you a muffin! Then my little man comes home around 2 or 3.

    Nothing planned after that!

  • Jillypoo - so excited for this muffin you speak of!

Shell - it sucks sleeping in the guest room.  The time has come for us to sleep in the correct room and reclaim our guest room as the office.

  • I don't *think* we're doing anything tonight. Chad is probably going to want to sleep over his friends house most likely.

Tomorrow, both of the boys are getting their haircuts. We have an appointment at 11 to look at some model homes and fill out paperwork for a loan. The house I really want is in Marley Park, but they are not showing them yet so we are going to look at something else by this particular builder and then fill out the stuff. So that we are first to go when the Marley Park houses are open.  After that, we have to go shopping to get Chad a few last minute things for his trip back east. Laundry, packing and going to dinner somewhere with him.

Sunday, we have to bring Chad to the airport. He's flying to Maine for the summer (well, until July 29th) to see his Dad. Then we're probably just going to come home and relax and swim in the pool maybe?

YES!  Where is your pickup location?!?!?!

I'm actually really looking forward to this weekend.

Tonight we're going to hit up HomeDepot to get a few things for our master bath.  Until now we've been using our guest bath and I'm tired of it.  So hopefully after tonight we'll be using our own.

Tomorrow is BB and housework.  I need to work on cleaning the tiles well, finish banister and work on something for a friend of mine.

    Sunday is family time!

  • Ours is really close to our house, so we won't quite run into each other :(

I'll be at Lowe's tonight, kinda like you :)

  • tonight alex has a game then we are p/u my younger sis as she is spending the night.

sat am the new housecleaner is coming - thank god! lol and then do some shopping with my sis.

Tomorrow- BB pickup, and then relaxing, chores, etc and going out with a girlfriend in the evening (prob to a movie and NY and CO, I have city cash!)

I'm in Seattle ALL next week (Mon-Fri) so at some point I have to do laundry and pack.

  • Tonight we are heading to Freedom Station for DS's BFF's birthday party.

Tomorrow is my first BB pickup!!! EEEEEE Soooo excited! After that, I'm headed to the Farmer's Market and a facial/wax at 1PM. Th erest of the day will be spend updating and emailing DH's resume.

Sunday I'll be working on Nia's new logo for most of the afternoon, as well as wrapping up a few other graphic jobs that are ready to go to press.

Sunday night will be spent baking cupcakes for DS's End of School Party. Anyone got a cute/yummy recipe they care to share? I was thinking of actually doing the cake pop things, but I've never tried to make them and I'm skeered!

I know right!  I had no idea there were soooo many locations--I totally thought we'd be picking up together, like super kewl nesties.  That sounded cooler in my head than it looks typed out :)

Delilah--cake pops are totally easy!  The oreo ball ones are even easier I think!  Check out bakerella!

Thanks Jillian! I just might hit you up later tonight or tomorrow for a recipe. I do know that I'm looking for a recipe without peanuts or peanut butter. Other than that, I'm game for just about anything. I do have a TON of strawberries that need to be eaten before they go bad, so maybe something fruity?

  • Tonight - not much, I'm going to get in the pool in a few minutes, where I'll probably stay until dark!  Then probably grill and a movie.

Tomorrow - DH wants to work on the hot rod, so I'll try to do some yard work in the morning and then the pool all day.  We'll probably go out to dinner.

Sunday - We have a 10am appt for a 4D ultrasound, we get to find out the gender!!!!!!!  Then probably the pool again (I plan on living there all summer, LOL)

How exciting!  But isn't it a lil early for that??  Or is that something new w/the 4D that they can determine it earlier?

During our NT scan at 12 weeks the Tech was 80% sure it was a boy, with both 2D and 3D ultrasounds.  This place says they can determine the gender at 15 weeks and if they can't (legs are crossed, etc.) you can come back for free up to 2 weeks later.  Our regular Dr.'s appt for gender wouldn't be until almost July 1st, so we're paying for this one to find out earlier.

How exciting!  I have to warn you though, the 4D ones this early (when baby has little fat on its bod) can be kinda um.. creepy?  The baby looks so real and so...skeletonish- a friend of mine had one and while it was SO cool, it was a bit... creepy.  So exciting to find out the sex though!

  • We don't really have any plans this weekend.  We have a lot going on in the next couple weeks, (2 sets of friends in town for Memorial Day weekend, month end at work for me, and then I leave to Vegas)  so we made sure to keep this one pretty much open for doing absolutely nothing.

Though, DH did volunteer his studio/recording abilities for his team to record some song thing for a team building project.  So they'll be here tomorrow afternoon.  I will probably be relaxing by the pool, or maybe I'll head to the mall for a bit.  It's never much fun listening to peeps recording.  You tend to hear the same thing over and over and over again, until they get it right.  Drives me cah-razy after awhile.

Jenn - Have fun in Seattle!  Hopefully you'll get some time to head up to the city.  So much fun.  Of course, I'm slightly biased!  :)

  • Today MH and I are going shopping for some new work clothes and clothes for our cruise this summer! Tonight we're hanging out with my brother, SIL and nephew. We'll probably do a cookout at their house and watch Ironman.

Tomorrow MH's boss is doing a cookout at his house, so that means I have to meet all these people for the first time in my bikini. Great. After that....LOST!
