rec. your home water filter

Our Brita filter bit the dust yesterday.  It was a sink mount and I had a love/hate relationship with it.  I loved it when it gave me clean water to drink in my reusable bottle, but I hated it when it exploded in my face when I was doing dishes.

Do you have a filter that you just love?  It can be sink mount or a pitcher, but preferably a sink mount that stays firmly mounted all the time.

TIA

  • i love my PUR faucet mount.  i never used the Brita one, so i don't know much about it..... with the PUR, there is a knob to turn to use filtered water (for drinking, or making tea, etc.) or regular tap (for cleaning, washing the floors, etc.)

This.  But I saw a new filter, I think it'a called Zero, that is supposed filter out almost everything.  I think it's only in pitcher style and not faucet mount.
