Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

So....
I think the assistant principal at the school I work at hates me.... She has been so rude the last few weeks including slamming a door in my face. Today I sent her an email about a missing rechargeable battery for my student with a hearing impairments FM recorder. The student took her End of grade test in another room and apparently the battery died...which is weird because it has never died before. Anyway...I asked if she knew where it was because I have to charge the other battery and it won't charge without 2 batteries in the charger...this was the response I got:
I probably threw it away. No one told me that it could be reused. Maybe, if other staff had been told that this was the case this could have been avoided.
So I'm suppose to tell the entire school i.e. other teacher that will have the student for maybe 2 hours that the battery (which had never died) was reusable...That really rubbed me the wrong way.
I'm not being hired back next year due to budget cuts (but possibly they will have the money and would let me know in August), but I honestly don't think I'd go back. I adore the principal but she is just a half-time principal and the assistant principal only likes those that are in her clique. It's like being in high school.
Sorry just had to ramble. I just got that e-mail and it really put a damper on my birthday.
