Weekend Plans?

What does everyone have going this weekend? It looks like it's going to be a gloomy day, at least for now. I woke up at 7 a.m. and couldn't go back to sleep so I'm sitting here killing time before everyone wakes up for the day!

We are just going to lay low around the house. Hopefully do a little yard work and maybe some spring cleaning. Everyone here is getting over being sick so I don't want to do too much this weekend.

On a side note, start posting crap, people! Let's get this board going

I have this weekend off.  I work nights though and sometimes I have problems sleeping on my nights off.  I couldn't sleep last night so I will probably take a bit of a nap.  I need to work out in the yard so hopefully the weather gets a bit better.  Doesn't sound like I will have all that exciting of a weekend :-)  My husband works Saturdays so he is at work right now.  We might get the grill out tomorrow and have people over.

Today I am trying to housetrain Harley. Our 4 year old golden retreiver. I cheated and tied a towel around him. Going to be a laid back day.  And tomorrow parents are visiting. I should probably clean for them today though.

I just got back from the City Market and eating a super yummy pastry I got there. Later I'm taking dinner to some of our friends that just had a baby then later tonight I'll be working on some stuff for my Etsy shop. Tomorrow we're going to MIL's for a cook out since my SIL and her son are here from Oklahoma. I'm so not excited for tomorrow... lol  I'll be working as much as I can tomorrow on more stuff for my shop, too.

Here is my shop. I opened it a long time ago, but just listed my first item recently. It's definitely a work in progress... haha I make custom paper crafts, mainly party supplies.

I am also obsessed with Etsy! There are some amazingly talented people on there.

I bought some things on Etsy for our wedding and still look on there once in a while.  I wish I was crafty.  I really want to be but I am not very creative.

I was so completely NOT crafty until after my first son was born. I wanted to scrapbook all of the cute pictures I was getting of him. I did a few layouts and they were horrible. I was so frustrated with it and started searching online for inspiration. Then I came across scrapbook.com and have learned everything I know about scrapbooking from there. You can learn almost anything you want to from the net. haha!  If there is something you're interested in, search for it and find a website dedicated to that subject. You'll pick it up in no time. :-)
