Whitehall is closing :(

The company has gone bankrupt and all of their stores will be closed around Thanksgiving.  Everything is currently 10-50% off.  I'm upset because they're not selling/giving their insurance policies on anyone's purchases (we have a 10 year insurance plan on our wedding rings and 5 years on my diamond earrings)...so I guess I'm out of it by about 7 years.  YUCK!

Anywho, just an FYI if anyone purchased anything from there.

I know...I'm so upset!  We have the plan on a few pieces as well (including e-ring/wedding band).  They did, however, give us the information for the company (called New...weird, I know) that is taking over their service plans.  I have the info at home, do you want me to scan it for you?  I think you have to call or something.  Either way, I think we're still getting screwed.  Sad.

I hear ya Steph.  The place my engagement ring + our engraved wedding bands came from also closed.  We had decided to only buy jewelry from there too.  Sign of the times I guess.

That reall stinks. DHs wedding band is from there. Seems kind of a waste of money on the insurance plan now that it will never be used.
