BB - Organics
Do any of you ever get the organic basket? I got the organic this time. It's a lot, but not nearly as much as it usually is. It's fine for us, but I'm just wondering if the quantity is smaller when you buy organic.

The organic basket up here was alot smaller. It included some yummy stuff though, that the regular basket didn't. I think I saw snap peas and sweet peppers, and bananas.
Organic is usually more expensive at the market, so it makes sense that the BB organic basket would be less quantity. I think it's due to the cost of each share.
All the organic baskets are pre-made so there are no opportunities for extras like there are the regular baskets. The lady that runs the site I go to said that it is almost not worth it to get the organic basket because your not getting very much.
Also, BB used to give the people who run the site a free organic basket, but now they are asking for a $10 contribution.
Maybe they are cutting back because organic veggies have gotten expensive?
