Housewarming Party Help Please!
... I've read everyone else's questions. But I am still in need of some help..of even where to start. We have not painted the house or anything...but , we would still like to invite our friends & family over. I need to figure out who to invite...and where the list should stop!!! what the menu should be. the time of day the party should be... and I wanted to make my own invites...any ideas or sites that have ideas..and i need a saying for on the invite! thanks for any help! I wish the nest had a page or two dedicated to housewarming parties! geez!
Re: Housewarming Party Help Please!
I think I've heard of people doing invites on cardboard squares, you know, like a moving box.
Many housewarmings are open houses on a weekend afternoon where people can just drop in and get apps and a glass of wine and visit and have a look around your house. Cheese and crackers, veggies and dip, that kind of thing.
If you do it as an open house, you can keep the cheese and crackers going all afternoon and not have to worry about how many people you've invited. Much easier than trying to host a dinner with X number of people. Also cheaper.
