Luau Party ideas

Looking for anything fun that is kid oriented. Games, ideas etc.

 Our memorial day party has a luau theme. 8 kids, almost out number the adults this year. Would like to keep them occupied outside.

The limbo is an easy game to keep the kiddos occupied while giving the parents a laugh (especially if they want to participate themselves!)

Have them make leis or hula skirts.. If you can find seashells, or fake flowers, or even beads of some sort would good for both!

We host a luau every year for Memorial Day. We get bubbles and squirt guns for the kids, I do a craft table where they can make leis, they decorate visors, and paint popsicle stick picture frames. I have a "dress up" suticase" filled with touristy stuff for them. I have pineapple shaped water bottles and weighted them down with sand and have them bowl with coconuts. Have a big sheet of butcher paper for them to draw on too.

hula hoops are fun/cheap.  yard games...frisbee, ball, soccer, etc....  If they are little one's have them bring their bathing suits and get a cheap kiddie pool with a few buckets. Little ones will love that.
