What you are witnessing is a huppah (they're not jewish) made out of plastic branches and all fake flowers, standing in front of the fireplace that has already had blue/pink thrown up all over it, with the cake table in front. Be sure to check out the beautiful light fixture.

Here's the centerpiece. Please note the easter grass, fake martini glass for a vase, fake flowers, blue plastic swirly things, the tiaras, glitter, and the favors shaped like Cinderella's carriage or a castle.
why did i only do centerpieces like this...

That is tulle in the lovely shades of barbie blue and pink, which was her colors. A few things to note:
1. they have been married for a year and a half already, had a JOP wedding, but decided they wanted the real thing.
2. The invites were hideous - a bride in an 80's dress embracing her groom. They registered at FOUR places, and included the registry info on the invite.
3. Cash bar.
4. Bride did not believe in alterations, so when she walked down the aisle in her enormous tulle dress she had to kick it out in front of her so she wouldn't trip. She had so many crinolines on it was hard for her Dad to stand next to her. She then changed into another dress for the reception, but didn't get that one altered either, so it dragged on the ground all night and she had to walk around with her train looped over her arm.
For breaking down in W. VA (did you hear any banjos?!?) and the ticket, the wedding should have at least had an open bar!!!
Wow, P&R. Just.... wwwwwwwoooooooowwwwwwwww.
what did you two buy them for a gift? Ya know after 4 registries and all...
Call me Kat =^..^=
We got them a set of mixing bowls and a rice cooker. Oh, and BF's tux ended up being $150!
oh yeah! We drove a grand total of 15 hours this weekend to get to this event, and they didn't even have an open bar. Grrrrrrrr.
Yikes.
Wait, nobody says "yikes" anymore do they? Well, this looks like a special occasion so I'm bringing it back. YIKES!
I rode in the car with BF's mom and girl cousins, and we were super catty on the way back to the hotel, LOL.
