I spent too much money shopping this weekend, and lost about $100 on the slots.  Had a lot to drink too. 

Oh, I also had to run down 26 flights of stairs b/c of a fire alarm that went off in the hotel, at 4:40 am.  It was a false alarm.  It went off an hour later at that... stupid.   I did however get to see a elevator full of fireman, I thought I was dreaming.

Oh wow Philly, that sounds like quite the weekend.

I spent mine working in the yard, but it looks SO much better. Sadly, every muscle in my body now hurts which makes it hard to sit here at work.

Haha... sounds like an interesting weekend Philly.  More fun than mine.  We went out to dinner, watched a couple of movies, worked in the yard and cleaned the house.  Reminds me of Old School when Will Ferrell says "Yeah we've got a nice little Saturday planned... hit the Home Depot..." - when did I get so old??

Maybe that's why it occurred to me... DH probably had it on in the background at some point.

Weekend was ok but today has been better. Amelia was transfer to second level care out of NICU, it is 90 degrees, and I just told off my MIL. Basic recap is that I told her I'm sick of her shiit and she will have nothing to do with my family ever again.

Well that's quite a weekend. 

Congrats for Amelia, but sorry to hear about MIL interactions.

Good for Amelia -- sounds like she's getting stronger everyday.  And good for you for standing up to your MIL - hope everything is ok though.

Thanks. As far as the MIL thing goes, it's been a long time coming. There is a lot of stuff going down that I haven't had time to post about but the short story is that she feels it is ok to treat DH & I like crap but get her way when it comes to Amelia. No. If she does not respect us, she will not have access to our daughter. Hate to be like that but nothing else has worked.
