Cabins in Wisconsin or Michigan
We're trying to plan a family vacation for a week in Wisconsin or Michigan. There are 7 families so we're looking for something where we can all be in walking distance of one another or even in the same complex. We used to go to cabins/condos in Whitewater, WI, but those are long gone! Any suggestions are appreciated!
Re: Cabins in Wisconsin or Michigan
I posted about door county in your XP ont he travel board. But are you set on WI or MI?
We are actually going to a house in Beverly Shores, IN this weekend that we love. This one only sleeps 6, but I know there are a bunch more in that resort town, some of which sleep up to 24. Here is the link. It's right off the beach which over looks the Chicago skyline and you're right by the Dunes.
We love the house we stay at, my friends & found it in college and then my H and I went a few years ago. the area is really cute and quiet.... most of the houses are spread far enough apart where if you're a little loud it will go unnoticed.
My family used to go to Door County with some other families, we each got cabins in the same little "resort" and got together for dinner and stuff.
I wish I remembered the name of the place...it might be Alpine, each cabin was named after a state.
