On the weekends (or whatever days you don't have to work), do you prefer to get up early, or do you like to sleep in?

Re: RQOTD - weekends
I'm an early riser by nature, and DH has slowly become one too. During the week, we get up at 5:30 for work, and on weekends, we usually wake up around 6:30.
I used to be able to sleep until noon or so but the last couple of years I can't sleep past 9:00 on Saturdays and on Sundays we get up at 8:00.
I wish somedays I could still sleep until noon as that might help me feel better some days
I'm really not a morning person, and given the opportunity, I like to sleep in. I will say, though, that I've gotten much better about not sleeping in past 8:30 or 9:00 except on very rare occasions.
I will say, though, that I wish I were a morning person! Yesterday, we had to get up around 6:00 because I was a lector for the early Mass at church. We went to church, drove down to a little beach and took a walk with Satchel, ate lunch at a little place next to the pier, stopped off at my favorite cupcake bakery, and then went home...and we were home before 1:00! It was so nice getting so much fun stuff done in the morning and knowing that we still had the entire afternoon/evening to do whatever we wanted!

i used to always sleep in, but over the past year or so i've started getting up early. usually around 7 or 7:30. It's like I see the sunlight and think 'YES. a whole day to do whatever i want!' dh usually sleeps in another hour or so and begs me to come cuddle w/ him. haha
now during the week he has to dragg me out of bed. who wants to wake up when they know they have to go to work? bleh
when i was younger i use to be able to sleep late but as i have gotten older and married the latest i can sleep is 8:00. most of the time when i get up tt gets up and we get the day started.
i agree lauren during the week i think i could sleep till 10 but on the weekends not so much.
LOL @ sleeping in
I'm up very early (or all hours of the night) every morning. But the only time I mind getting up early is the weekends I have to work. I'm in at 7am. There are no words for how much I hate working weekends!
