I actually finished two books this weekend: The Adoration of Jenna Fox (I'm blanking on the author and am too lazy to look it up) and Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah.
Jenna Fox is actually "young adult lit," but it's interesting. It's actually sort of sci-fi/futuristic but it brings up some interesting scientific/ethical questions. (Basically...just because science has the power to do something, does that mean that it should be done?)
Firefly Lane was really good! I actually started it Saturday and finished last night...and it's almost 500 pages! In a nutshell, it's the story of two girls who are best friends, and it follows their lives over the course of about 30 years. It definitely would've made me cry in a few places if I hadn't been finishing it during the commercial breaks of LOST. ![]()
